CIWM Members' Council
The Members' Council consists of CIWM members appointed by their Regional Committee, a representative of the New Members’ Network, and the Presidential Team, which includes the current and past presidents, Vice President, and Junior Vice President.
The Members' Council is the official representative body of CIWM members and has three primary functions. Firstly, it provides a forum for two-way communication between members and Regional Committees and the General Council and senior management team. Secondly, it advises leadership on key professional and strategic policy issues relevant to members of CIWM. Finally, it facilitates communication between CIWM’s Regional Committees. Member Representatives also vote for the Junior Vice President (JVP), which is a separate process rather than a formal function of the Council itself.
